New
President for SA Wrestling Federation
Dr. Willem Putter
A
new era has dawned for the South African Wrestling Federation with the
election of dr Willlem Putter as the new president of the South African
Wrestling Federation. Mr. Dave van der Merwe retired as president after
serving in the management of wrestling for almost 2 decades.
Cobus Minnaar, the former head coach of the Federation was elected in
the post of vise-president in the place of dr Putter. Sakkie Bosse and
Faizel van Wyk remained in their vise-president posts.
The
veteran administrator, Mr Manie van der Berg, was unopposed as the
Secretary General and will be accompanied by a new
treasurer Mr Pieter Smith.
The
rest of the executive consists of a dinamic team with a number of new
faces.
